Brandon O’Neal

President
Brandon ONeal is a born and raised resident of Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of a local high school here in the city. He currently resides near his childhood home and coaches a recreational little league baseball team.
He has been with the Baton Rouge Police Department since June of 2006. Since that date he has committed to assisting in the betterment of the police department and it’s recruits.
While in Uniform Patrol he instructs at the police academy and was a Field Training Officer. Currently he still instructs at the academy but is a full time Motorcycle Officer in the Traffic Bureau.

Fred Thornton

Vice-President
Thornton has been employed with the Baton Rouge Police for 12 years, and began his career in district two. He is currently assigned to the street crimes unit and Special Response Team (Swat). He has been a member of the Baton Rouge Police Union since the start of his career, and is passionate about serving the men and women of this department as well as the community.

Robb Moruzzi

Treasurer

Robb Moruzzi has been in law enforcement for sixteen years. While at the Baton Rouge Police Department, he first served in Uniform Patrol at Second District. He then worked as a Tactical Flight Officer (TFO) in the Air Support Unit while also serving as a part-time SRT (SWAT) Officer. Once the opportunity was available, he moved over to being a full-time SRT Officer.  After four years, he returned to the Air Support Unit, where he obtained his Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s License to become a Pilot/TFO for the department.

Throughout his career, he has always been active with the Baton Rouge Union of Police. He has served as a Steward for both Second and Fourth Districts. In July 2021, he was elected to the Treasurer position. He also served as the representative for BRPD on the Municipal Fire & Police Civil Service Board from 2015 to 2022.

Robb is a husband & father and in his off time, he enjoys working on cars and inshore fishing.
